Copy link and take over internet address

Behind every link on the Internet there is an Internet address. You can easily copy them to the clipboard and then paste them into a text document, an e-mail or elsewhere. Read here how to copy a link.

Copy link with Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer

  1. right click on the hyperlink whose address you want to copy.
  2. A context menu will open in your browser.
  3. Depending on your browser, select the appropriate menu item
    • Firefox: Copy link address
    • Chrome: Copy the address of the link
    • Internet Explorer: Copy Link
    • Edge: Copy link
    • Safari: Copy link
  4. Then copy the link to the clipboard.
  5. Now you can paste the link into a text document or other target.

Safari on the Mac also wants to “copy link” With Edge the function is simply called “copy link In Internet Explorer, copy the shortcut. In Chrome, you need to “copy the address of the link” In Firefox select “Copy link address
